Mandi Lotion.... Kawan-kawan, marilah kita mandi lotion....
Aku beli "shower gel" ni last week. I was sure... sangat sure yang memang kt rak tu ada botol2 sebijik mcm ni tertulis kt situ shower gel... I tested satu-satu bau dia... then ter berkenan dengan yang ni... tgk harga, aik apsal lebih RM 1 daripada yang lain... ooo maybe sebab wangi kot dia lebih mahal sikit... maka dengan konfidennya aku grab and paid... Baru malam ni teringat nak pakai... masa tuang, kuar la cecair putih pekat... hmm, ni shower gel ke shower creame? hmmm tak kesah la... but mandi punya mandi... buih tak kuaq pun... Skali tgk label, Lotion daaaa.....

Hoho :P (btw, thanx Aan :*)

Harijadi adik dan kakak, both in January. Kakakku request kasut... Bila diberi pilihan kasut or baju kepada adikku, si adik juga mahukan kasut. Cari punya cari... I really donno why I end up pilih kaler itam jaaa... hahaha... safe choice. To be safer.. untuk sangat sangatlah memastikan tiada sebarang pilih kekasih atau kronisma berlaku... maka kedua-dua pasang ni adalah kaler sama, cap sama, tinggi heels sama, harga sama... Cuma dsign je lain sikit.. Hahaha.. dah la duduk serumah, kalau pagi2 nak gi keje, terkopius kasut... aku tak bertanggungjawab naa... hohohoho... Sebenarnya memang tadi nak amik kasut cap lain-lain, kaler canggih2.. tapi tu la, nak wat camna, nampaknya ada deria2 tertentu kurang berfungsi dengan cekap sejak dua menjak nih... Tapi walaupun kurang colorful, aku rasa ia agak praktikal aar, senang nak match dgn baju dan selesa pun selesa (pujuk diri sendiri)
Hihi.... Happy Besdays ya sistas... Muaahhssss.... Love Love.... :D

Talking about something I'll never get tired off.... or never too old for...
is this:
Doraemon... kau tetap di hatiku...

Dah masuk tahun 2010... Kenapa kucing robot yang ada poket yang ada pintu suka hati masih blom kuar dalam pasaran ye.? hmmm.....musykil.....

+ve energy lookout

Where do I begin… most of the things I want to write has been posted by Jane… so maybe fewer photos here to avoid redundancy? Jane has safely arrived in NewYork, marking the start of her journey to pursue her childhood ambition in fashion. Good Luck Dear... A few days before she left, we had a small get together in none other than our very own hometown, Bukit Mertajam. Three of us, Jane, YingSan and I. Elena was supposed to join, but she is currently based in KL… Why is everyone moving to KL haa? grr grr….

I had a great day with u girls… I was actually at the verge of exploding with ton of worries and doubts in my head. The new semester, the papers… bla bla.. urgh!

So last week - attempt of redemption… This week, kinda redeemed... i guess...

Redemptions:

Attempt #1: Going out with the Girlz
Yap… a great day! Made me forget all those fuzziness… Felt so carefree. Non-stop coffee, yakking, and sunset in Mengkuang Dam… not forgetting the jumping-mania sessions. I couldn’t ask for more. Hehe… Compared to how we were in school 11 years back, I don’t think much have changed… the semangat, the beria-ia-an… the laughters…

Gonna miss u Jane..... YingSan, jom pi Nuyork jom... haha... ya rite...

Attempt #2: Going into Seclusion

Ok.. The girly-session therapy seemed to work well… until something made me feel low and dejected on Friday. adeh... I figured maybe I needed some "alone-time". Hopped in my car, drove straight to Queensbay and watched Sherlock Holmes. Alone and tired, the seriousness of the movie almost made me doze off… Nasib baik kau hensem wahai Robert Downey Jr… YOU kept me awake haha…

Then instead of driving back to my lab, drove to Georgetown. Wanted to stop dekat this ais kacang place near roadwalk…but I missed the place so I drove straight into the hearts of Georgetown. Saw Malilia Bakery… I heard the roti benggali’s good. Went to buy, but they don’t have roti benggali with kaya at that time.. so had to resort to normal bun instead. Geesh, anticlimax. Bought it anyway and ate while driving in slow moving traffic.

Note: All pictures that follow next are courtesy from random people posting it in the world wide web... as I was camera-less and my henfon tak cukup teknologi gituw.. auwww...

But then, was it Malilia Bakery (pix above) or Ismalia Bakery (pix below) yang Zue and Kak Ilah mentioned before? Both in Transfer Road. Hmmmm, tak kesah lah, but need to check out both places for their roti benggali next time :D

Rojak! That’s it! That's what I needed! Yes ada rojak sedap kt Feringgi! Serios ke nak gi Feringgi?… Haha.. Drove to Feringgi, my tongue receptors dancing in delight, craving for Rojak. A friend called, so I was on the phone until I reached Miami beach. Eh, I thought I was not supposed to be in contact with anyone during my "alone-time"? Reached the beach… and… Dang! The Rojak takdak! Super anticlimax weh! Ape kes… haih… Since dah sampai kan.. hmmm thought maybe I’d cekaud the beach (it looked safe, few groups of small family) and decided to wait for sunset. And again... I was on the phone all the while with 2 different people who happened to call. Alone-time sangat laa kan :P

Sunset…I waited…. And tadaa… today no Sun! erkk.. mana pi matahari eh? Matahari pun bleh main cak-cak ke? As I remembered, sunset can be seen from Miami beach maa… or was I confused? Delusional? adoilaa… I laughed at myself… tough luck :P

Ok… Maybe fine-dining then… After maghrib, I had no idea where to dine, texted Aca who suggested Marco, Italian restaurant or Tarbush, Lebanese restaurant. I chose Tarbush for the location- nearer to night market. Dengan berbaju kurung sejak pagi tadi ituw… dan refresh sikit after maghrib prayers... pergilah daku makan sensorang pada malam weekend ituw… Sgt kasihan tp macho okay :P

I was ambitious; I almost ordered appetizer+main course+dessert+drink. The waiter was concern enough to suggest that I scrap off appetizer as they serve in big portions. I ordered briyani Lamb + mango lassi and caramel-something-ish for dessert. Maybe kesian kot tgk aku sorang2, he offered to give me free dessert…hehe… (finally something delightful). Nan-bread is complimentary appetizer, for dine-in... I think. Then, main course pun sampai…. It was 3 times the normal portion I eat. Gila kah, mampukah aku makan semua ituw… *choke choke*

Sedapp… delicious, the lamb nicely done… mango lassi so pekat… Slurrppyy… the rice so tasty, but I couldn’t finish it. Tried my best though. I ate only 2/3 of the briyani… I don’t think I have as much space in my tummy as I used to. (too much space taken by existing lipids). Ouh, the interior exterior tempat tu memang canthek. Hehe, sekali sekala, terasa mcm Genie in a bottle... ahakss..

After dining, I swept through the crowd in night market to get to a specific stall to get a specific stuff and quickly made my way back. I don’t want to drive too late at night in Feringgi alone so by 9.30pm I fled. The whole Saturday I hibernated in my room until I realized I had exceeded my “alone-time”… so I packed, jumped in my car and rempit back to my hometown. Once I was back in my safe and comfort zone… I felt wayyy better… Usually in this stressy-messy situation, I go out and meet people or rest at home or divert by trying to entertain people. But once a while, Alone-Time can be refreshing… though I may not be so much of a Alone-Time person… it's refreshing...

Well.. small scale and ad-hoc though... coz I can't have long holidays for the time being... ok now... papers to be read.. papers to be written.. back to work deii :D

Tarian Hujan musim ketiga

On our way to dinner, it was raining. SuperBB and I entered the restaurant. Wow… full house! Only the tables at the last row were empty. Rain had ceased, so we didn’t have to worry about getting wet. Halfway through meal... it started to downpour again, thunder and lightning dancing in the sky. Even after we moved the table slightly inside, the rain still sprinkled on us. SuperBB said: “Takper, let’s finish eating… control macho je

The drizzle tickling my face and SuperBB’s macho expression made me laughed. I concluded my meal with a cup of hot Nescafe, which I guess had extra ingredients of acidic rain water. Gagaga... Still raining heavily; we decided to battle the rain to the car, parked not far away, under an overhead bridge.

Our side of the road was somewhat flooded with rain water (slightly above ankle length jer) and we had to cross over to the opposite side. SuperBB: “Redah jer… kita pun dah basah

1, 2, 3…. Run!!!

SuperBB victoriously crossed over… but I… Waaarkh… one of my slippers is missing! Gone! Tenggelam, Lemas di bawa arus! Half shoed, I looked for the other half in the water but the 'current' must have washed it away. Both of us tried to look for it by meraba-raba-ing the not-so-deep water, and peeping under a car parked there.

After 10minutes demonstrating Tarian Hujan around the car, decided to follow SuperBB's advice to come back at day light to look for it. Uwaaaa…. :-( I went back to my room disappointed, smelling like drain or rain water… not sure myself.

Next day, Yes… I went back to check. But it wasn’t there.

I’m sorry dear… I drowned your twin!!!

I can get a new pair, I know… but it won’t be its twin partner la kan. Hmm... maybe I should buy the same slippers with different color, eh? Then, I can wear it as same color pair or as mismatched pair with this now solo slipper… mix & match is trend right??

* I keep having dramatic experiences with shoes sandals, slippers @_@
Lesson Learned: Pakailah selipar cap Tat Seng...

Akhir Kata…
Sediakan Payung Sebelum Hujan,
juga sepasang selipar tambahan.

Tak Kenal Maka Tak Cinta...

  • A: Can you believe this soap? Why is that woman wearing such a heavy make-up going to sleep? =Looking at the TV=
  • Z: Isk Isk… dramatic sungguh…
  • A: Eh... wow… the Waja’s sport rim super cun lah! =Looking at one of the cars parked outside the restaurant=
  • Z: Hmmm… I’ll save some money and have mine changed too next year.
Look right, Look left… front... nothing interesting at that moment…
  • A: Should I start writing that letter tomorrow?
  • Z: You should... and also finish up the photo-editing, and also start compiling your literature reviews. Keep that in mind.
  • A: Ouh.. so much work need to be done, Haishh….
  • Z: Dun worry, be positive… Slow and steady wins the race =smiling positively=
  • A: Weeee, here comes my Roti Pisang
  • Z: uuu.. still hot… where’s the fork and spoon eh?
…….

This dialog can go on forever. A and Z are the same person = me! That’s me and an example of a dialog I have when I’m dining alone. When I dine with someone, its 2 ways communication therefore I make way to listen. On the other hand, eating alone, I talk and talk... non-stop. The difference is - no one can hear my inner voice.
What is wrong with eating alone? Haha…

Some people prefer to ‘tapau’ (take-away) food rather than eating alone in a public place –restaurants etc. I used to be like that, until recent years. Undeniably, I prefer and love dining with friends, but sometimes when no one is available at that time, and I am sooo hungry I could eat a dinosour (sambil perut menari2 dangdut gerudi)… I will just hit a cafĂ© or a restaurant and eat alone (but sometimes I tapau too).

But Yaaah… eating alone is kinda tricky… I can entertain myself to the extent I can be very close to laughing out loud; or seeing interesting things around, I have a tendency of changing my facial expression according to that. Euwww… creepy and so weirdo ok! Never do that in public wek! I’m getting good at controlling it… haha… (takut kena cop psiko)

Yesterday nite… I ate alone… at this mamak restaurant nearby campus. The humongous TV was playing yet another soap drama, about some hantu keliwon kot. I ordered pasemboq and waited for my food to arrive, emptily watching the TV while I was having my usual az-to-az chat.

Suddenly a man around 40+ of age came to my table and held on to the chair diagonally opposite of me.
  • A: Ohh.. he wants to take the chair…
  • Z: Erkk.. but there’s so many empty tables around.
Then, he pulled the chair and sat.
  • Errr… excuse me… why is he sitting here?
  • Omg… is he going to lecture me for something I did? What did I do just now? =Usual paranoid attack=
  • Nah... he won’t attack… this is a public, open place.
I looked at him… he looked back.

He looked relaxed.

I looked back… he looked at me blankly.
  • Z: Ok… this is scarryyy…… Atta… help!!!!!
I looked back at him , my face expression all distorted with confusion and some hints of fear. He looked back and snapped
  • Encik Konpius: Ehhhhhh…. Alamakkk!! Ehh...Salah meja!!! =Looking shocked and startled=

me =terlopong luas=
  • Encik Konpius: ...saya ingat bini saya…. Ehhh! bini saya kat situ.
He thot I was his wife?? He quickly stood up, pointing to where his wife is seated; two tables away, behind me.
  • Encik Konpius: Errr.. minta maaf.. minta maaf… salah orang.
  • Me, Dazed: ha… err.. oh… takpa-takpa…. (its ok)
He quickly walked back to his wife. Behind me, a table with a group of girls, giggling “Dia salah meja ka… hihihi”

I sat there, didn’t want to turn around. I was confused for a while... and then I wanted to laugh... I wanted to laugh out LOUD… but how could I??? I am eating ALONE!!!! Haissshhh…. These are some of the challenges of dining all by yourself!

I finished my meal. Then walking to the counter, I passed by the couple. Both of them smiled coyly. They were going back themselves, and were getting in their car by the time I came out.
  • Encik Konpius: Sorry naa tadi.. tersilap meja. terkejut ka tadi
  • Missy Dazed: =smiling politely= Ha’ahh.. errr takper2…
Isteri Mithali (wifey): Hehehe… Mintak Maaf naa.. dia terkonfius tadi
Missy Dazed: Hihihi.. takper2.. terkejut sikit je tadi…
I smiled and waved my hands before heading to my car.

Ok… Lesson Learned!
Next time I eat alone… I should put a signboard beside me
“Saya bukan bini anda, sila cuba meja sebelah”

Life is a flower of which love is the honey

Yes... Flowers are lovely...beautiful... and irresistable! Haha... (I sound so jiwang, I know)...

I am definitely not romantic type of person... or maybe I am?? Erk! Yaa.. maybe I am romantic deep down, just waiting for it to be explored? :O omg, dat's scary!

You seee.... people usually relate flowers, especially roses to romanticas. So if I have this habit of catching flying roses, does that mean I am R.O.M.A.N.T.I.C or looking forward to marriage a.s.a.p?? Ok... I'll vote for the the first one over the latter.

The myth about wedding toss-away bouquet .

The one who catches it get will be next to get married. And.. Ladies and Gentlebachelors... I have caught, grabbed and provided a landing zone for 3, i repeat THREE wedding rose bouquets - from Salina, Jane and Joey (keatJoo).

At Salina's wedding, Jane was the one excited to catch the flower, but it just landed on my hands. Kezoomm.. just like that! 2 years after that, Jane got married... yes Ladies and Gentlebachelors... I don't mean to disappoint you but I have proven the myth wrong.

At Jane's wedding, I said "I'm gonna catch this bouquet coz Jane cut my line, so she owes me this bouquet". Urs truly did manage to catch it... *applause* ouh thank you, thank u. I am a good catcher. Why didn't I try out for the school's sofball team, eh?? Dirugikan sungguh bakat I ni... ahakss :P:P~

At KeatJoo's, I said "No... I'm not going to catch bouquets again". Jeng jeng jeng... the flower bomb flew towards me... and again, by default, my hands just grabbed it while it was on its way to meet the other jumping bachelorattes. Ooopss wait wait.. I may have exaggerated a lil :P~ No one jumped ok... hoho... There it was, on my hands. Shocked, I quickly shoved it to Ai Nam, and she ran, I chased her and she fell on the stage's stairs. We were making a lil drama of our own there... some of them actually thought we were fighting for the flowers... Ayayay...!

Pheww.... after a while, I came to my senses and finally realized that the bouquet belonged to me. I get laughed at... But now, I am proud to say... I caught it! Haha... for the third time... Yeahh, you go Gurl!

It's about time to accept the fact that I have a 'thing' for roses... romantica de amour.. wohooo.... and that I'm a good catcher :D
Last but not least, Selamat Pengantin Baru to my dear friend, Keat Joo @ Joey and her lovely hubby, Steve.

Makan Ubat Cap Ibu Bapa dan Guru-Guru

I attended a workshop involving 3 schools. The participants were mostly lecturers with a small number of postgrads from each school. So it was a 'no jeans and no roundneck tshirt' day for me. Well dressed in Baju Kurung, BBFazz and I got down from the hostel and I stopped by my car to change my shoes, as I was wearing a pair of flipflop. To my horror, the highheels was not there! and I dont have any sandals in my room, just a selipar jepun. BikFaz or Aca's shoesize are way too small.

I ran up anyway, with what eva last hopes I had... (the flipflop is ok but it wont give such good impression for a formal occasion like dat)... Climbing the stairs, I bumped into one of my floormate... and her sister, also my floormate, is tall! (adik-adik ipar Pidot adalah floormate saya) Yeah! I went straight to her room, dgn tersipu-sipu asked whether I can borrow her sandals. Aminah offered 2 choice of shoes, they were 1 size smaller but can fit, so I grabbed one with the ribbon (wah wah ini makcik, in a hurry pun sempat memilih gaya kah).

Btw, I stopped by my room to re-check the drawer where I usually keep my extra shoes, but there were none.. so I rushed back down... and started to walked poisedly, since its 1 size smaller and I wont want to risk tearing shoes belonging to a noble-heart *_*

Workshop ended... Phew.... The shoes still in great condition. Yeah... I am sopan dan ayu after all, I can wear a 1 size smaller shoes and still return em back just how I got em :-) Thanked her a zillion, sembang-sembang, and went back to my room.

Nite... I could feel my throat uncomfortable and body temperature rising... but when a friend asked me out for a ice-cream dinner... what did i do? I excitedly said yesss... forgettin about the approaching fever. (a bit blur blur) By the time I realised it, I felt bad to back out and so I just proceeded.

I was ready and leaving the room, I looked at my feet and thought "Which shoes should I wear, that flipflop or this highheels eh?"

Then....
I stopped... I gawked... ternganga dan terkembang-kembang idung....

high heels sandals....

WHATT??

There's a high heels sandals lying there in front of my eyes, beside the toiletries, right beside the door!

And I went into all the trouble of looking in my car's bumper, climbing back up, borrowing from someone, even looked in the drawer, when all the while, the highheels was jus there... in the most visible sight!

(P/S: Anda mungkin mahu merujuk Buku Sains PMR anda... bacalah tentang Bintik Buta... saya rasa saya adalah mangsa fenomena itu.... sekian, harap maklum)

Welll... the next day... I fell into fever and tirrribel cough.

So... now u know.... blurness is one of the early signs of sickness... so if you start to become blur-blur... do take precautions like eat lah antibiotics ka, vitamins ka or the Fisherman's Cod Liver Oil ;-)

Movie Star or a Queen?

Tiba - tiba saya jatuh cinta dengan POS Malaysia... jangan tak percaya... inilah penyebabnya:
  1. I just got my parcels... the items I bought from eBay has safely arrived my homie today... The crown and a watch. Yeyyy..... *square-dancing
  2. I have received a letter from Italy. From my very old penpal. Can you belive this, I am still in touch with my pen-friend using snail mail since 1995. I am sooooo excited and happppy.... coz the last time we corresponded was 2006.

Yahooo... I have a tiara crown... yeahhh... I wear it and I feel like a queen... Well, I bought it for wedding photoshoots... ain't I suppose to feel like a bride when I wear it? Nope, nope... not a bride, not even a princess... I feel like a Queen... *agak melampau :P~ (semestinya demam-Iggy Queen masih belum kebah)

This time around.... I have a newly recruitted model. He's purple... and willingly tried on the Tiara... no questions asked.

See... He does look happy, doesn't he?

Barney is such a sport, he gave me more than one pose. See.. different angle... and he kinda look excited, kan? Hehehe...

Smiling wide....
I love you... You love me... We are heppi femili.... wooot woot...

Not only I feel like a queen today... I feel like a movie star too!!
I just came back from 2 good friends' weddings. One, my schoolmate + roomate in matriculations. The other, roomate in matriculations + uni. Using Math Logic, A(A-->X) ^ A (A-->Y) . B (B-->Y) ^ B(B-->Z) =((A.B)-->Y) ?? Make sense? In summary, A (Rinaz) and B (Atun) knows each other coz all three of us plus another friend were roomates in matriculations. They are very close buddies... so it is kinda weird, funny, crazy that both got engaged on the same day (last year), nikah on the same day (yesterday), wedding on their reception on the same day (today), and the groom's reception on the same day (tomorrow). NO... they are not married to each other... :P (in case u are speculating, stop rite there :P)

Have you watched "Bride Wars" by Anne Hathaway + KateHudson. A+B didnt get into cat fights like in the movie, they are still good friends. However, Alisa and I played the supporting roles today....the friends. Running from one wedding to another, separated by 20-40 minutes driving, depending on the traffic. That's the movie-star role I had today :D:D *ouhhh.. the camera loves me.. klik klik klik... tenkiu tenkiu....

Last but not least...
Selamat Pengantin Baru Rinaz dan Atun ;-) :*

When u say "Sweet Dreams", make sure u don't use numbers

I'm a dreamer.

Some people have dreams occassionally, some just once a while, and some rarely. Me? I Dream! I dream almost everynight... I know, some of my close friends who I at times torture with my dream stories are rolling their eyes right now. Mwahahaha.... Like "No, not about your dreams again" Hahahhahaa.....

I dream sooo much... most of the times, I don't pay attention to em. But if the 'storyline' in my dreams involve some friends or sound interesting, they will be victimised with my stories.

I can recall back my dreams from as early as I was 5. What can a 5 years old kid's dream be like? Some 3-4 monsters circling around the dining table. Round and round... and round and round... and... round and... Ok... I think they get the point!

There's one dream that has been bugging me for quite some time though. I just dreamt about it again a few days ago. A dream where I'd be back in secondary school, in Form 5. I love it when my dreams transport me back to the memories of school days because at times, they just felt so real (revisiting places I used to hang out, joking and running around with friends). But sometimes, this dream would be interupted with an anxious feeling.

I would have a feeling that I have not prepared anything for my SPM, specifically for Add Maths. Suddenly, towards the end of the dream, I would be feeling worried-sick that the big exam is just around the corner and I have not studied a thing, especially Add Maths. I dunno how to put this feelings into words... Like "u start to feel butterflies in your stomach"-kinda feel. It feels like my whole future was at stake and I was not ready. Yalaa.. big exam kan.... and it was as if I was totally clueless and unprepared. I'd be awake after a while, feeling a bit anxious. By then, I'd realise it's just a dream and boleh tarik nafas lega.

I don't dream about this very often though. But I have this dream like from time to time... after a few months or years... but the feeling is the same = worried and Not prepared!

Hmmmm.... but why Add Math? This has to go in X-Files.... kan kan....

Since it's a repeating event, I had some time analysing this X-Files of mine. I've thought of some possibilities:

  1. I was a lazy student who never did her Add Math homework. I used to leave my homework blank until the following lesson, I'd be the one asking most questions when Mr.Lo announced to the class "Any questions you want to discuss?" I'd fill in the blanks when the answers were discussed and written on the blackboard. It's weird... I'd do all other subjects' homeworks except for Add Math...Could this be the reason??
  2. I never liked tuitions. But the only subject I chose to enrol for tuition was Add Math... I'd be listening to what Mr.Rao taught and tried to remember and understand them. But.. again.... I never did the homeworks.
  3. For our debate team, we each had our "so-called bombastic" introductions. Elena, first speaker "As long as Titanic remain sunk, and shall never sail again, I will stand affirm with....." Prema, second speaker "As long as the electron....bla bla bla..." and mine was, "As long as the formula of the roots of quadratic equation is negative b plus minus square root of...bla bla bla" (LOOK at the FORMULA wehh... damn long....) Why on earth did I use that as my intro? Never did AddMath homeworks... got guts to use it for some literature purpose some more!
  4. (maybe I should ask Elena if she has dreams of Titanic ship or... Leonardo di Caprio, maybe? :P)
  5. SPM revision? I would do some exercises from revision books, just to get familiar with the structure of the questions and answers. A few days before the paper, I memorised the important formulas for every sub-topics... so even there were certain questions I couldn't answer... I wrote down the relevant formulas and fill in any numbers I'd see in the question, just to bag some marks from my answers... Maybe my method of studies/ answering had violated Pythagoras' theorem or some algebra ethics?? so.. i'm haunted?
  6. Maybe Mathematics keep haunting me because I was supposed to take up Math course in my tertiary studies??
  7. Or... maybe my Soulmate will be a mathematician?? :P:P HAHAHAHA.... oppss... lari topik!
  8. Or is it a sign or a reminder not to take things for granted?

Added: Truth be told, as responded in the comment, I was very playful and kind of carefree during SPM (teruk rite :P). When the whole class would be intensely doing their own revision, I would jump around finding people who I could entertain or sembang2. At home, my sis would be studying for PMR and I would be on TV... Hmmm... Maybe I was too relaxed last time, that the anxiety had been diluted and dispersed into my dreams... possible, no? :S :S but still... why addmath?

But if the Add Math-phobia is a price to pay in order for me to get dreams of beautiful memories of my school days... I'll write the cheque... But then again, I don't really have a choice of what to dream when I fall asleep rite? HAHA....

With That....

GOOD NITE u ollss....

SWEET DREAMS... (or should I say sweet-non-mathematical-dreams) Ahakss....
Sleep tite... ZzzZzzZzzz....

The Legend of Iggy Queen

Once upon a time.... there was a princess called Angel-Puppee from Angel-Land...

Back in Angel-Land, Angel Puppee didn't eat, instead only fed with love ! She only knew how to love and brought happiness to everyone she met.

One day, she bumped into a pretty, sophisticated, educated lady named Dr.Ele.
Angel was confused, why is this lady looking so sad?

"Hai there beauty, what makes you look so sad in this bright shiny beautiful day?"

"Errr... whattt thee?"

"Be calm.... I'm here to sooth you... take away your sorrows"

"Eh... Helllo... I just failed my experiments just now ok... I was supposed to create a super human clone, but everything turned into ashes... Now if you just..." Dr.Ele sounded very pissed off.

"Miss... Look at me.... " giving the most sweetest smile... making Dr.Ele's heart melt and forgot all her sorrows and heartaches.

They became friends.

Angel taught Dr.Ele to enjoy life, for instance, how to camwhore. Dr.Ele was a quick learner. She could then just strike a pose without much effort. And most importantly, Dr.Ele LEARNED HOW TO SMILE.

One fine day, Dr.Ele said "I still want to proceed with my big experiment... It's gonna be my lifetime achievement.. and..."

"Shhhh... say no more.... I am here to help you.... I will assist you all along... as long as it will make you happy" Angel said, again with the sweetest smile no one can say no to.

While working on the lab.... One day, there were thunder and storms and raining heavily outside. Angel was scared of thunder and lightning. She was so terrified, she started screaming and running around the lab...

Accidentally, she knocked on the sulphate crystals (blue in color), and the crystals broke into pieces and fell into the cloning cube. Dr.Ele did not realise that, as she was chasing Angel to cool her down. The chaos ended after a while, and they continued their work.

The BIG DAY came!
Dr.Ele's clone came into life! But to their surprise, not quite like what they had in mind. It looked blue and some of the tissues were not well formed. Since Dr.Ele was so into camwhoring, that was the first thing they did after the clone came into life.
Dr.Ele did not give up. She tried to look for ways to perfect her invention. That's when they found JaneDiva, the best plastic surgeon in town.

Janediva was appalled....

"This.. I mean... this is beyond my expertise.... She is totally.... a wreck.. I mean.. errr"

"Ouh... I know you can do something to make this look better... ouh please...." Dr.Ele begged, and Angel was beside her, smiling the sweetest smile again.

"Ok... I'll try"...

and the process began...

"Her skin texture... there's something peculiar... it feels like... an iguana skin... Ermm.."

"I used Iguana's DNA to fill in the gaps" Dr.Ele whispered to Angel.
As a result...
The clon looked stunning. Despite the imperfection..... it looked stunning after given some make-up boost. Clon was named "IGGY QUEEN"

Janediva became close to them... as she would make a weekly visit to touch up Iggy.

After some time.... Iggy realised JaneDiva was always praising Angle for her beauty and charm. Iggy started to feel envious.

Even Dr.Ele was very close to Angel and seemed to be mesmerized everytime Angel smiled. Iggy never got any praises but only sympatetic look from them.

That brought out the darker side of IGGY.

To make it worse, she overheard Dr.Ele's converstion with one of her colleagues. Dr.Ele just found out about the sulphate crystals and she remembered the accident, and knew it was Angel who caused the error in her cloning. But, loving the friendship they had, she kept it as a secret from everyone.

Iggy started to have grudge and hatred towards Angel. Seeing the special treatments Angel got made Iggy's anger deepened. She finally atacked Angel....

In shock and horror....Angel still tried to give her sweetest smile and pose. But Iggy could not be bothered, her anger conquered and she then destroyed Angel.

Dr.Ele was devastated by the death of Angel, but did not know it was Iggy's doings. Dr.Ele never smiled again. Iggy tried to entertain her.... but no.. she never never smiled....

Iggy's anger came back again. She wanted more revenge... And Finally.... ended Dr.Ele's life as well.

IGgy had no friends.....

Therefore she travelled across the lands.... and found a perfect match... the REd Ochy... who happened to be a clon made from Ostrich DNA.

Together.... the fight peace and superheroes all over the world.

THE END.

Make-up (Angel + Iggy Queen) by Janediva
Supporting Role, Red Ochy's make-up by Caroline Oi.
IN THE MAKING:
It took around 2 hours + for my make up. Jane was on the perfection mode that day... Every time she drew the lines using liquid eye-liner, I held my breath... Inhale.... then... after the thin brush lifted... exhale...
  1. All 3 of us (Shuh Jiuan @ Jane, Elena and I) fell in love with Ai Nam @Angel that day. She just looked soooo sweet as a bride. Jane and I tried proposing her... tapi kena rijek pulak. Uwaaa....
  2. We all agreed that Iggy should audition for Cicakman 3... hahahha.. as the gufren role. Then guhfren turns bad and becomes the villain... haha
  3. Being called Model a few times... i.e "Jane, ask your model to look here"... etc... sebenarnya dinda sungguh la tak model-esque hahahha...
  4. Elena was our runner... thanks for the coffee... no wonder models are able to maintain slim... nak makan pun tak cukup masa... hihiihih... both Jane's models are Gila-Coffee and can kenyang with some coffee sips... so didn't crave for food.
At the end of the day, Shuh Jiuan received her Diploma in Professional Artistry, Fashion and Bridal Make-up from Stella-In... CONGRATULATIONS !!!!!!

Was a great and crazy experience... Thanks BEBEH :D:D

I met Ratatouille

Appointed as an emcee again, this time in Bahasa. I was like… alamak!! I was indeed afraid as I have tendency of speaking extra speedy especially in Bahasa. Another issue was, most people who emcee in Bahasa use bahasa bunga-bunga, with melodious intonations, which I am not good at. I was informed, that particular event did not require all that, therefore thought it would be a good opportunity to improve my public speaking in Bahasa Baku.

For a first timer, was worried… cuak... hoping everything goes on well.

At the podium…while waiting for VIP’s arrival… That was the time I met Ratatouille

Fyi, it was a 5 star hotel… Suddenly I saw this tiny thing moving very aggressively and fast on the carpet. At first I thot… well.. must be my tired eyes.

Then later, there it goes again. Confirm! It’s a RAT… baby rat. It was having fun running around in front of the podium and towards the VIP table, which was still vacant at that time. Then it went running below the stage and in and out. Why was I the only one seeing this? How am I supposed to Emcee with a bebeh rat running around the podium area. What if it jumps on my feet while I was talking? Ohhh tidakk! Went to the hotel people, informed them. They looked shocked. Later some of them came to check it out… but all they did was, look whether there was a rat or not. Then, seeing none, they blah! Then I knew, I was all alone in this!

VIP arrived. Start emceeing. Dean’s speech, followed by V.C’s speech. While VC was giving speech, Ratatouille popped out again. I nearly choked. I looked at the audience. They were all hooked up, looking and listening at VC. The rat was running towards me… Ouh noo!!! But lucky me, rat-babe did not come too close. Gosh… help me stay poised. I tried to hide my scared, horrified face. A rat running around gleefully… and yet… no one else notice? After a while, Ratatouille ran to the other side of the ballroom and disappeared. Nasib baik, did not cause any drama. Hohoho... sorry, for the story has no climax :P

Maintained cool…and finished the job, then the dinner… wait… did my dear Ratatouille prepared these? *still a mystery*

Following day, event continued, while one of the Deans was giving speech, he mentioned, quote “I am distracted by this mouse running around in front of me….” Unquote.

Thank god… I was not hallucinating!

I'm a specky....

Huhu... I hate to wear spectacles. I love to look at people wearing them, but I don't like to put them on. I told myself I am not going to wear glasses, and if I really need to do so, I'd go for contact lenses.

Just like how I announced to people I would never use Nokia (because at that time, too many people using Nokia)... then I end up with Nokia... until now.. even when people start to opt for other mobile series.

This week... I end up making a pair of glasses for myself.

Out of confusion (from the machine test) it showed my power had gone high, and I ordered the glasses before the real test.

After the real test, the results came out like this.

Right Eye : farsightedness +25 astigmatism +50
Left Eye: farsightedness 0 astigmatism +25

Huh... Not so high kan... Do I need the glasses eh? Deep down inside, I wanted to walk out without my brand new glasses. But then, the reason I did the check-up was, I had problem reading from presentation slides and driving at night. Yes... astig! I wanted to get glasses to ease my eyes from straining so much. Vision... I can read words but sometimes they seem to be smudged. Even the lights seemed smudged when I drive at nite, need to squint my eyes.

Huhu.... contact lenses? No... I'm not ready for that... UWaaaa.... so have to wear glasses jugak!... waawaaa...

I hate to wear glasses coz I was never able to find a suitable frame for my face. I don't even own a sunglass for the same reason. Everytime I try to look for a suitable one, I end up disappointed. Too picky kot? Haha... so now... nak tak nak... kena pick one... Pilih punya pilih... I end up choosing this one, coz I think this frame with lighter color makes me look softer :P~ others make me look so garang... and ouh... it's PINK... haha...

opppss... ter-pose kontrol ayu pulakss..... bagi memastikan tak nampak garang gitu... huhu

Haha.. I plan to wear it only when I'm driving and attend classes/talks... and maybe sometimes when I use the computer.

Ouh... I know it's a petty issue... bit too dramatic... adoiiii.... But... uwaaaaa.... Me have to wear speck di... uwaauhuhu....

Thanx Acha (alisa) and Aca (aisyah) sbb teman, bg pendapat dan beri sokongan moral!! :D:P~ *and Zue BB, tenkiu (huhu mcm mana bleh termiss-out nie,) :* biks...

Pro-Penang?

Has been 1 year plus since I last travelled to KL to meet friends. Last year's 2 trips were strictly work and others with family.

I used to have this yearly of six-monthly visits to KL last time, after my matriculations. Having some close friends studying in universities in KL area... I'd love to make my self-adventure down to kl, venture all the posssible LRTs or Komuters to meet as much friends as I could. At the same time, it was a treat for me-self for jalan-jalan after struggling with exams or run away from loads of assignments.

After we graduated, some were still studying, some still looking for jobs. Even some friends who studied in Penang, came down to KL to look for jobs etc. Back then, the trips were very much anticipated as well. Jumping from one friend's house to another was fun. Sharing their career building moments were memorable.

At times, some reunions happen only when I came down from Penang. Although quite a number of them work in KL, they don't usually get the luxury of setting a right time to meet. So, when I did go down to visit, they knew they had to arrange the luxury somehow. Ye lah.. I dah datang jauh- jauh.

Then...
after a few years.... I start to be very attached with my "Penang-life" - work, studies and photography... and I realise many of my friends over there are getting busier with life as well. Some already moving to another phase (marriage)... i'm saying it as another phase coz it's a phase I'm not in, yet :P~ haha... So, my so called self-adventures down to KL has lessened. I'd love to do more real adventure thingy now... like hiking and camping yaa... (*ok, parlimail?)

Hahaa.. and yaaa.. the never-ending debates between KL-Lovers and Penang-Lovers. Okie, definitely I'm on Penang-Lovers side... haahhaa... yoshh!

There were a few KL-Penang comparisons I had. For Career... and for Studies. No matter how much my KL-lovers friends tried to convince me I should try "surviving" KL, I just couldn't bring myself to "migrate" over there. To say I am not adventurous or dare not take challenge... is up to people to make judgements. Hehe, I have my own definitions for this... and have my own reasons for the choices I make :-)
would/might say:

KL-freaks

  1. We have everything here, and they are easily accessible.
  2. Entertainment and Food is plenty
  3. People are more colorful, different styles, different ways of representing themselves.
  4. Convenient - highways help you to move easily... but Toll... err...
  5. LRT and public transportation = tip-top
  6. Shopping heaven
  7. To test your durability and sense of survival in the city-jungle. Face the real world.

Penang-freaks
would/might say:
  1. We don't have as much as KL, but we have enough
  2. U still enjoy city-life but it's not as hectic as KL. Entertainment oso got. For food.. fancy restaurants oso got.. hawkers stalls oso got... sedap some more...
  3. People are lil bit more friendly than those in KL
  4. Ok... penang bridge always jam, but at least not toll everywhere we go
  5. Try taking Komuter-LRT on working hours... can die. Try driving in Penang for at least 3 months, you will become best drivers in Malaysia ;-)
  6. We also have many shopping outlets, although KL has wider options, at least the parking tickets won't kill us after shopping... waggagagagaaa....
  7. anywhere oso can learn the survival skills... and anywhere oso real world maa ;-P

They sure don't apply to everyone, people have different reasons to settle down in different places. Haha, but when ever I tangled in KL vs Penang debate... I can be sooo one-sided and biased... hikhikhik.....wooopsie...

I do get remarks like "you are sooo penang" or "dat's so penangite". Do we have some kind of trademark, hmmm... I wonder. I donno what that is, but one thing i realise... most penangites a bit cincai one... kihkihkih... and we do say/hear the word cincai a lot.

Ok... actually
I just came back from a short trip in KL... (meeting friends). After not taking the bus for quite some time... this is what i discovered or re-discovered:
  1. Some people at the bus platform (i.e. bus drivers) making side incomes by trafficking goods. I don't think I would complain if they don't end up making the passengers wait for 45 minutes at the platform while they possibly make a trip to pick up some goods (informing us pergi isi minyak but had to wait macam they went to gali minyak definitely made us make speculations) + there were small pick-up trucks collecting goods from the bus + at the platform where some goods (fresh food) were left unattended earlier.
  2. Ok... now they stop in weird places other than Pudu... grrr.. this is personal bash.. cos i missed the LRT.
  3. The baby cockroaches always make final appearances. it kills me everytime these roaches make their "Boo" at the end of the bus ride, knowing that u have slept with bebeh-roaches, wow... but takpa laa.. kalau tau awal-awal, lagi tak leh duduk.
  4. The ticket from Penang to KL is rm35? warkhhhhhhh.... mahal nyer!
  5. I complain a lot (though not out loud...) :P~

The Pink Sandals

I joined the school's alumni event recently. Instead of writing about the event or our tasks, I am going to write about my beloved sister's pink colored 1-half inch high heels sandals. Let's get pinky ya.

I was told that we can wear anything, and I wore something usual, with the pink sandals. I didn't know we were going to do hard labour.... and after some time.. I really start to feel pain and discomfort. but work must go on, we had to continue distributing the food to the participants. I even stood barefeet once a while.. cannot tahan di.

Then, I saw one of our member's son sitting at the corner. He is about 20, looking all macho and relaxed; and there's another boy around 11, another member's son, running around and looking so... well, young! :P . They just came back after a short tour around Pisa. Something caught my attention! the 20 year old guy's slippers, wow.... the answer to my pain and agony. Then, I made a bargain.

"can we change shoes... U can take mine... haha.. you can even wear em if u want (trying to be funny), i cannot tahan la walk with this sandals"

I was expecting a horified expression but all he said was "Ok, sure" and gave me his sandals. Yahoooo... saviour!

When we were busy sorting things out, I saw him walking to other direction (washroom maybe)... wearing my sandals.... (Fyi, My feet are large size, so a medium sized guy can easily fit into my sandals). I was like... alamak... maybe emergency sampai don't mind wearing my sandals. its Pink wei...

Then after some time, we had to load a number of boxes of mineral waters into a room nearby, and he helped out... . Was he going to ask for a trade back? No he didn't, without complaining, did the job... and later continue moving around in my sandals.

Ok... I felt super guilty... so finally, I asked for a trade back. I told him my feet are no longer painful so we'd better switch before he has to go through one too :P~
Hahaha.. I don't know why I am making a big deal out of this... I just felt it was cool. Like he did not even complain, and all he said was "Ok" and "No Problem" or just smiled. I think he is Cool... good boy ;-)

For all the trouble, I said to Dr.Ooi that she owes me an insurance for my back :P~ (must be careful what u joke about) Not to be supersitious, but then, I really had come close to need one, as after we had our lunch, I tripped and fell in front of a restaurant. Sakit giler... it was not like the funny-funny fall but a FALL fall... errr...if u get what I mean. It was definitely not a good day for my back. I fell because my heels tripped on the badly maintained pathway. Again... it was the heels :P~

On our way back, Chris advised me not wear so much of high heels, since I am already tall (for Malaysian standard), so don't really need one. (oppss)

So.. after all these thing happening to me yesterday... Where are the pink sandals now?
Hihihi (blushing).... Right under my feet :P~ Huhuhu... bukan degil, but don't have other options just now, left all the flat ones in campus. For comfort, I prefer the flat ones actually, but at times, heels make me feel more err... taller?? :P To stop wearing high heels completely? huhuhu.... i dun think i could :P

Flat heels sandals are just not sexy :-(

No, Uncle... I don’t love you :P

Have u been in situation where u find urslef lost in translation? it happens a lot i guess when ppl talk in languages that u dont master and u really feel lost... especially when u desperately need the information that's passing thru... frequent huh? hmmm... and have u even been in situation where u are "caught" in between translation?

Here is my intepretation of being Caught in translation :P :P

It was last day of convocation festival. I was so busy at the gift shop, helping with the sales so I didn’t have the leisure to go around the convo site. Shops and stalls were supposed to be closed before midnight so I used the few hours left to go around and look for something worth a purchase.

I stopped at the book stall, they were from Saba media. They sell Islamic books and journals and most of them were in English. My original intention was to get a copy of al-Mathurat, but browsing through; I found some page-turning books.

The owner and his staff conversed in Tamil when they speak among themselves. I was going through 3 books when suddenly an elder man whom I guessed would be the boss; he was around 50 years old, condemning his assistant for giving the wrong price to one of the customers beforehand. The younger guy had certainly hit below the margin and he was apologizing for the mistake. It was not a serious argument as a few minutes later they were chatting and laughing over some other matters.

I didn’t mean to eavesdrop but I couldn’t help it, I just understood every single thing. From one look, slalunya people tak bajet yang i can understand or apatah lagi bercakap dalam bahasa lain slain bahasa kebangsaan. but seriously, nowadays mmg takleh bajet sapa bleh cakap bahasa apa kan... sudah rojak maa.

By the way, back to the story, I thought I was being rather mischievous, thinking the information would be pretty handy for me to bargain later, heheh.

The boss was in front of me and upon realizing that I was somehow glued to the books, he approached, speaking in Malay and English “Good books, just choose which one, harga boleh kurang”

I was laughing inside; yes I know can kurang sampai mana. The uncle explained about the books that I was flipping through and finally I made my choice. He stated the price and with the information I had earlier... now, it’s the time to bargain, I decided.

“Tak boleh kurang ka?”

Oh nooo… What I said was fine but my tone was, if I heard myself correct, sounded a bit seductive. Euuuww… didn’t know where that came from… :P

The uncle choked and turned to his assistant, speaking in tamil

“Pochida, kadhal udherangge”Translation: “Alamak, she’s trying to seduce me”…

Ohh tidakkk…. He was about the same age as my father and no way that I would have any intention to be funny with him. Tidakk!! My face turned hot out of embarrassment and disbelief. Usually when ever I caught up in a situation where I understood what people say and it was about me, I just kept quiet. But that night was not one of those, I had to clear my image :P

Therefore, I gathered my courage, cleared my throat and said clearly

“Anthe mari kadhal kadhal la kadiyathe”
Translation: “No such lovey dovey thing going on here”

Hence it was then the uncle’s turn for embarrassment and disbelief. He looked over to his assistant again and that guy was already half way exploding with humongous laugh.

In just a blink, the sheepish man jumped out of the stall and couldn’t hold his own laughter as well. I stood there not making an inch of a move and I was posing a macho stature because I knew I was at the winning side.

After he was somehow composed, he came back in and asked in tamil “speak tamil?” I just nodded a macho nod. He kept apologizing and said he was just joking. I knew it was a joke but I manipulated the situation to make them feel guilty ehehehe… well, with the hope I get extra-extra discount for the book.

I spoke as monotonous as I could sound, and stressed the word uncle so that my intention would not be misinterpreted again. As a result, I came back buying the book with a good discount and feeling very fulfilled, like I won some match or something… Ahaks…

So… what have u learned from this incident?

Don’t judge a book by its cover
  1. Marilah kita belajar pelbagai bahasa
  2. Control your intonations and gestures when you speak, people can get the wrong ideas okay…
  3. Kadhal means Cinta/Love
  4. I am seductive after all… hihihihihie

Cicak yang Durjana

Semalam Emme ajak melepak di persisiran laut Queensbay Mall. Bes la makcik ni, sebab hobi dia makan, dan hobi aku pula makan bila diajak makan. Petang tu mmg indah la, cewah… bukannye wat apa pun, makan kuih2 dan ayaq kat batu-bata tepi laut queensbay tu jer, bersama rakan-rakan lain – nando, kak ilah, rash, dan adikku. Semakin lewat, smakin banyak angin-bayu senja lah tu kot.

Hmm sebenarnya aku pun tatau apa yang aku nak tuleh… haha…

but.. sbnarnya melepak tanpa tujuan selepas sehari bekerja ni mmg bes… sbb merilekskan diri serba sedikit lah. So kami pun bersembang, merepek,ketawa2 dan menyakat sesame sendiri.

Jgn ganggu idop ku lagi, cicak… !!!!

mesej ini disampaikan khas kepada cicak-cicak sedunia...

~ sekian terima kasih ~
